Claudia has been teaching yoga and leading workshops since 1990. Passionate about yoga as a tool for healing, she has established yoga programs in several Baltimore area hospitals including Union Memorial, GBMC, St. Joseph Medical Center and Johns Hopkins. There, she has worked with people being treated for heart disease, cancer, and psychiatric issues.
In her private yoga therapy practice, she has helped many athletes and performers overcome situational anxiety and let go of long-held stress.
She co-leads LivingYoga Teacher Training in Emmaus, PA, which offers a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certified training program.
Her skillful guidance, compassion and gentle style has inspired hundreds of students to become healthier and overcome stress, anxiety, depression and dis-ease. She is certified in Kripalu Yoga, Cardiac Yoga, Reiki, Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy and with the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She continues to study the Buddhist teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh, and the Vedantic wisdom of Swami Shankarananda.
Off the mat, she enjoys playing the piano, running, spending time with her partner Don, a UU minister, and her adult daughter Amelia, a NYC based actor.
